The image now comes up in the search result - this is probably a delay in the speed with which the search index is updated.

The good news: CirrusSearch is updated a few seconds after a page is added, changed, or deleted.
The bad news: it isn't ready yet!

Marking WONTFIX as this is inherently fixed by CirrusSearch and lsearchd has been end of life'd and won't be improved further.
