Gerrit af6d9ab introduced list=prefixsearch which can be used as a generator, which action=opensearch can't be. This would allows us to avoid taking the output of opensearch and turning around to make follow-up API requests for e.g. pageprops to see if they are redirects or whatever.

We shouldn't do this switch until MW1.23 is released, at least, however.
