Flow: Can not make a new indent
Open, LowPublic

Description

The situation, so arranged posts:

u1
* u2
u3

I begin answer to u2

u1
* u2
* [I write here]
u3

while I write, other users create some posts...

I saved the post and then I saw it

u1
* u2
* u1
* u1
* u2
* my post
u3

Perhaps Flow should automatically re-calculate the indentation? Then it would appear like this, instead:

u1
* u2
** my post
* u1
* u1
* u2
u3

I've edited the description, which will hopefully make it a bit clearer. This is a "timing" problem - Flow currently specifies the indent, based on when I click "Reply", but it specifies the placement based on the order of everyone clicking "Save".

See also this feature-suggestion, for a related fix. T94918: Flow should either notify me or give live-updates, about new posts made in the topic I'm currently typing a reply in

Can you post a link to the conversation where this happened? As per my comment on T94924, I want to judge the reported issues based on how they impact the ability to have a productive, high-quality conversation.

Edit conflicts are always annoying, but at least with this system it posts your comment, rather than give you an error page.

Ruwiki is still using the original indentation model. The new model is live on Mediawiki right now, it'll be on ruwiki next week.

Wait, I'm sorry. Did it go live on ruwiki today? Sorry, I've been looking at tickets too much and I may have confused myself.

I saw this happen on ptwiki today. A few of my replies to https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%B3pico:Segov5w2cbzfrzck where started before another user posted his own replies. But then, when I added my comment, I saw other messages were already posted.
