Hi folks -- please add any thoughts on the devices your team needs for the next fiscal. We're planning on reserving some portion of the budget for purchases later in the fiscal.

-Toby

I think for testing the Android app it would be great to have at least one of the following devices that can be permanently used by @Etonkovidova to test our app:

  1. Samsung Galaxy S3 (m0)
  2. Samsung Galaxy S4 (jflte)
  3. Samsung Galaxy S5 (klte)
  4. Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (golden)
  5. Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100)

These devices seem to be very frequently used to run our app.

Yes, it's good to reserve some of the budget for later in the year.

An HTC device with HTC Sense would be good to have as well.

I've asked the reading-wmf list for people to provide devices they use in practice to frequent the site so we can avoid unnecessary purchases.

We're working through a spreadsheet now.

dr0ptp4kt moved this task from Waiting to Doing on the Reading-Admin board.

The first batch is almost done.

There have been a few additional devices since the first batch - iPhone 6s and 6s+ as well as a Samsung device - that have been fulfilled as well.
