Description

Using Chromium 37 (in Ubuntu), I get these errors when trying to load VE for the first time at beta cluster:

It was not initially reproducible in Firefox, but then I did an action=purge in the wrong window, and suddenly reproduced it.
Possibly related to T97069: On second edit attempt between loads, VisualEditor fails to load, complaining about revID mis-match

This is because we're trying to use the new RESTbase endpoint thing in beta and it doesn't seem to work there.
