Oh dear. OK, thanks.
Sorry, how do I check the Safari version? This morning I managed to log into the English Wikipedia (on turning on the iPad after having turned it off overnight), but till now I cannot log into the Wikimedia Commons.

I have been able to log into the English Wiktionary, but not the English Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Commons.
I should add that I don't have any problem logging into my account on my laptop.

Yes, I was logged in on mediawiki.org. No, the usual OAuth window asking me to authorize did not appear.

I am still not sure if I am retrieving the correct information. There was a loading problem when I viewed https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/earwitness. This was what was in the web console.

Ah, sorry. "Rooibos" did not load properly, but after I typed https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/rooibos?debug=1 it did load successfully, so I'm not sure how helpful the following output is.
An error occurred again. Not sure if I did it correctly, but I typed "https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/natatorium#Noun&debug=1" into the URL field and pressed "Enter". This is what resulted.

The error occurred again. This time, the web console said this:

When I reloaded the page and the gadgets loaded correctly, the web console said this:
OK, it happened again, so this is what the web console said:

Yes, I haven't encountered the issue for a while, so I guess it has been fixed.

This is what the Web console recorded on one failed attempt:
I just retried the uploading process, and one of the files failed to upload with the error message "Unknown error: 'internal_api_error_DBConnectionError'".

I think I have discovered what caused the error. I decided to retry the upload today, and noticed that yesterday when I had attempted the uploads, I had forgotten to complete the required fields "Source" and "Author" on the page before the "Describe" page. However, despite not having entered any information into those fields, I was able to progress to the "Describe" page, though not to click the "Next" button. There is also no way to go back one step once you get to the "Describe" page.

If I try to upload the file using the old Special:Upload page, I get the error message "413 Request Entity Too Large / nginx/1.6.2".

After a few false starts (file selection window did not show thumbnails; selecting a file had no effect at all; Firefox crashed) and purging of the cache, UploadWizard seems to be working again. Thanks.
Here's what my Firefox web console reports:

I think this problem was diagnosed in another bug to be caused by Firefogg.
