A suggestion from frwp: sometimes you don't know is someone has seen the message you left or the answer you've made. Is it possible to have a feature which creates a button "seen" who add a public mark: "Trizek has seen this message".

Most of the time the "thank" button is used to do it (as the Like button on FB), but is not always relevant (as the Like button on FB as well).
