The VisualEditor suggests some images based on their title if you're about to insert an image. The images, that are used in other language versions of this article (and in Wikidata) should be added to these suggestions. These images are often very fitting for the article.

But please note, that for example in the German Wikipedia not every image from Commons can be used, images with some templates must be excluded.

The Merlbot in de-wiki has already a service to find images from other language versions and filters images, which are not usable for the German Wikipedia. So some talk could prevent additional work.
