Tech News contains several pieces that returns every week ("The Tech News weekly summaries ...", "Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical ..." and "Tech news prepared by tech ambassadors ...") as well as a couple of recurring items where only the dates are changed. The translation memory never works for these pieces of text, which is a constant source of frustration for the translators and actually makes translators give up on the project.

(We'd love to use templates, but then we'd miss those pieces of text when assembling the message for global delivery.)
