A common complaint is how slow it is to move a row a long way up/down a table.
Moving by drag and drop would be hard to implement given the limited space in the UI. Slightly easier to implement would be a two click process where after selecting “move row” you are given a set of drop points to click on.
The drop points could be reused in the future by drag and drop if we work out where to put the drag handles.
Also a method that doesn’t require drag and drop should probably always be available for accessibility.
