Also true on Opera Mini. I can reproduce it by going to cs.wikipedia.com and selecting a random article, then clicking the button to change language. Probably can be reproduced generally but that's how I got there. :)

It's true in general, I can reproduce it on Chrome on desktop.

I don't have language links configured on my local vagrant instance yet, what I can do is show search icon only in .header search input (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/339799)
