RC filters - 'Category changes' with 'Very likely have problems' are not marked with 'r'
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

For some reason, 'r' is not applied to 'Category changes', so when filtering is done with filters 'Category changes', 'Very likely bad' - there will be no 'r' displayed.

The screenshots are done on enwiki.

The old filter 'Show probably good edits' hides Category changes and displays records uniformly marked with 'r'.

Etonkovidova renamed this task from RC filters - 'Category changes' with 'Very likely have problems' with not marked with 'r' to RC filters - 'Category changes' with 'Very likely have problems' are not marked with 'r' .Mar 25 2017, 2:15 AM

Is it possible that these changes are (auto-)patrolled? In which case they would not show the "r".

I didn't know that auto-patrolled changes got an automatically low ORES score. Is that correct per se, or just de facto?

Actually, @Etonkovidova I just set my "Prediction threshold" to May Have problems and clicked the box for "Highlight likely problem edits with colors and an "r"..." (on the Watchlist prefs page). But even when I filter for Likely have problems, I don't see any "r"s.

Is the "r" function broken on Recent Changes entirely? Isn't it supposed to still show?

RC page with 'New filters for edit review' beta features enabled will not display 'r' to indicate likely problem edits.

'r' (black' will continue to be displayed on Watchlist/Contribution and on RC page if the new filters are disabled.

Closing the task due to the functionality changes regrading displaying 'r' on RC pages with new filters enabled.

The user with Autopatrolled rights still have their edits to Categories recorded with ORES scores. On the other hand, I could not find an instance of Category change marked as a damaging edit, but it might be just limitations of betalabs environment.

Yes, scores are recorded for autopatrolled users, but any edit / RC row with rc_patrolled=1 will not have an 'r' displayed. rc_patrolled is set to 1 automatically for edits made by autopatrolled users, and can be set to 1 manually for other edits by patrollers on wikis where RC patrolling is enabled.
