rename "Aramaic Wikipedia" to "Syriac Wikipedia" in MediaWiki:Project-localized-name-arcwiki
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As mentioned at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/412957/, their community had consensus years ago to rename their URL to syc.wikipedia.org (T28725), thus please standardize the language name here to match MediaWiki:Search-interwiki-results-arcwiki

URL: https://translatewiki.net/wiki/MediaWiki:Project-localized-name-arcwiki/zh-hans

Event Timeline

Currently it reads:

"project-localized-name-arcwiki": "Aramaic Wikipedia",

But given the fuss at the patch linked above I am not sure how to proceed. It was named 'Syriac', now it reads 'Aramaic' and they want to get back to use 'Syriac'?

Change 492651 had a related patch set uploaded (by Drishya Ramesh; owner: Drishya Ramesh):
