Dear All,
Please, could someone rename the project namespace on fywikt from "Wiktionary" to "Wikiwurdboek", in the same way how it's functioning on nl.wiktionary.org. There have been efforts in the past to accomplish this, but unfortunately without success[1].

As far as I can see this can be easily accomplished by setting the name in $wgMetaNamespaceName at InitialiseSettings and then running namespaceDupes to fix pages and links.
Also, is there any recent community discussion or announcement regarding this ticket? If none, could you please at least advertise it on your local forum/village pump for general awareness? Thank you very much.

"Wiktionary_oerlis" would be fine.
Well, I'm willing to do that, but this wiki does not have a community, as it was abandoned for years. I'm the only regular editor. Recently a user from the Frisian Wikipedia passed by, and discussed this issue with another user Octahedron80[2].
I could also ask the Small Wiki Monitoring Team for some additional approval, if you wish.

Yep, and I guess all those that are is_page_redirect = 0. We should move those to the Wiktionary namespace w/o leaving a redirect and let namespaceDupes.php magically fix those afterwards.

I apologize for not having done this yet, but I'm still waiting for a review in my patch and in the process as I do not want to have a namespace mess with broken titles afterwards. Thanks.

Edit to add: 'Wikiwurdboek:Aldheechdútsk' is listed, but I would like to keep this redirect as it's a correct alternate name. I guess I can just change the target link afterwards?

You're welcomed! There are a few of conflicting pages listed on https://fy.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiki:Alle_siden_neffens_foarheaksel?prefix=T202769&namespace=4. I tried to avoid it, but seems I missed something. You need to decide what to do with those pages. You can most probably just delete them (or more precisely, ask a steward to do it for you, as you have no local sysops).
They're cruft, but nothing will ever link to them. I don't mind keeping it as a history record.
