AbuseFilter does now allow selecting block expiration dates from a dropdown. However there's no "other time" field (such as in Special:Block) which would allow us to select a different expiry time from those offered in the dropdown. It'd be a nice to have feature I think. Thank you.

@MarcoAurelio If you want other durations you can add them to MediaWiki:Ipboptions. The idea is that those are the most common durations in use on the wiki, and thus should cover almost every use case.
As for the proposed feature, I actually think it should be assessed together with some other block customization, e.g. T201815.
