Description

WikiHiero is designed to display Egyptian hieroglyphs, but WikiHiero characters do not display in the mobile version of Wikipedia. I have observed this problem on an iPad, a Samsung phone, and a Macintosh desktop browsing the mobile version, so I assume it is true across all platforms.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to the mobile version of any Wikipedia
Go to an article that contains WikiHiero, e.g., Egyptian hieroglyphs or Ägyptische Hieroglyphen

Expected result:

Hieroglyphs should be visible

Actual result:

Hieroglyphs are not visible, even when written within the {{hiero}} template, although they are visible within the {{Infobox Hieroglyphen}} template.

Confirming. The <img> has width="0" in the mobile frontend. The image is displayed when manually setting the width to e.g. 38.

This looks fixed to me as a side effect of T133085
