Description:
In the user Watchlist, changes to sections are (usually) properly indicated in the edit summary. Would be nice if the page link went directly to that section instead of the top of the page.

Do you expect the page to be directly linked to the history (View History)page or where do you expect the page to be linked directly? At present its links to the read page.

Each and every title has an "History" link next to the title itself. If this is your requirement then this is the solution, if it is not what you expected then could you just tell me more clearly?

A typical watchlist entry:

(diff | hist) . . m Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents‎; 00:53 . . (+29) . . SmokeyJoe (talk | contribs)‎ (→My block of admin PBS - review please: step back on hyperbole)

If you click "→", it will lead to the specified section directly. I'm not sure changing the behavior of clicking the page title should change. Maybe a user preference or user script could be implemented?

I don't think the behavior of clicking "→" is particularly obvious, so there might be ways to improve on that. LiquidThreads will help with discussions/threads once it's properly implemented. You still have section editing of articles/non-discussions to think about, though.
