Hi,

I just got this note from Engage that contributions aren't saving.

"I seem to be having some difficulty entering gifts into Civi. Whenever I go to save a gift, I receive the loading circle, as if it’s processing, but never goes any further. If I go to cancel the gift I was attempting to save and refresh the page, the action will look to have gone through, but doesn’t save the soft credit."

I just tried myself and it wouldn't save for me either.

This looks like it may have been a php version issue? I wasn't seeing the same error on my local civi.

Yup I was basing my guess on your fix, because I didn't see it locally. But as I see removed the return values, I'm questioning my assumption.
