In previous years we tried wishlists with mixed results. The main argument around these being that it only involved fairly few editors coming up with suggestions.

In 2021 our aim is to come up with a few other ways of identifying technical needs in the Community. Like before the focus is on the Swedish language or Sweden based communities but not limited to any particular Wikimedia platform.

Out of these discovered alternatives we will try one approach during 2021 and use it to identify (at least) one technical need to address.

The results of the whole effort (including suggested but discarded options) will be documented in an English language report and shared with the wider community.
