I'm not blocking this request but I highly discourage it. we did this only for Turkish wikis (and I think we shouldn't have). This gets really complicated really quickly and if for example we want to update icon of wikimedia button, then we have to delete all those as we can't speak these languages. There are plans to make the button a css element instead which would make it translatable much easier. See T256190: Update footer image links on all MediaWiki skins to be legible and accessible and T42465: "Powered by Mediawiki" and "a Wikimedia project" buttons and targets should be localizable.

Regardless of status. This is clearly not part of rolling out new logo of mediawiki and should not be a subticket of that.

If it is possible on Turkish projects, it would be fair for it to be done on Czech ones as well. I would like it to be easier, but task T42465 has been here since 2012 and not being worked on it (probably). The configuration change is a relatively easy operation, I think. If these icons will be changed, you can write to me or at Pod lípou where will someone help with translation.

If I have to choose between removing Turkish or adding Czech, I would go with the former. Having a bad pattern doesn't mean we can add more bad patterns on top. These are binary png files that are not easily changeable (unlike svg).

I understand that task is not done but it's not blocked on anything. It just needs someone to do it (possibly get some design resources).
