Sharing behavior unexpected when article is location/landmark
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

https://ticket.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketZoom;TicketID=12140950

When I share a link and copy it, it doesn’t send the wiki page but rather the apple maps location - like this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krameramtsstuben?wprov=sfti1
https://maps.apple.com/?ll=53.548000,9.980200&q=Krameramtsstuben&_ext=EiQpJMY33STGSkAx4PUrxdz1I0A5JMY33STGSkBB4PUrxdz1I0A%3D

Version: WikipediaApp/6.8.2.1868 (iOS 15.3.1; Phone)

It actually has both (when the article is about a location/landmark). This is not expected behavior, should share like normal.

I'm able to reproduce this on iOS 16.2. Trying to Share > Copy link to New York City article results in copying the Wikipedia link followed by a space, then the Apple Map link:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City?wprov=sfti1 https://maps.apple.com/?ll=40.712778,-74.006111&q=New%20York%20City

Thank you for the correction. Also, fixing this issue seems to also fix T293510
