1. on a mobile device, visit a talk page that does not contain any discussions (but does contain some unsigned content) at a wiki where the mobile reply and new topic tools are enabled (e.g. https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion:Dagobah)
2. notice the Discussion:Dagobah page appears as if it does not contain any content
3. tap the Read as wiki page link/footer
4. notice you land on a version of the Discussion:Dagobah talk page that now contains content that begins with, Cet article est indexé par le project Star Wars.
5. scroll past the templated content and notice the empty state experience beneath it (Démarrer une discussion sur Dagobah)
6. wonder why the empty state experience does not appear in the non-Read as wiki page view despite us seeming to have implemented that in T312599
