@TayfunEt are you sure this is not caused by typography/technical limitations? In Romanian we used to use ş instead of ș until about 15 years ago strictly because of incorrect keyboard layouts in Windows, I strongly suspect for Tatars in Romania the situation is now reversed.

I don't know, they use the Ǧ ǧ and Ș ș letters as Ğ ğ and Ş ş often, it can be that you are right. The alphabet is actually shown in the book named "Alfabe" from UDTTMR. When you like, you can try to contact with UDTTMR, to ask which Orthography is official.

The book is pretty clear that the correct version is S-cedilla below (Ş ş). That's to be expected since it's a turkish language. There are no current display limitations for that character.

Yes, the exact translation from Romanian is "due to a printing error, words with ğ should contain ǧ". I don't think we have that problem on Wikipedia either, so I suggest we stick with the alphabet as described on enwiki.

As a language code it will be great when we use crh-ro and paste it into Names.php :

'crh-ro' => 'Tatarşa', # Crimean Tatar (Romania)

I think to add converter for Romanian Crimean Tatars is good idea.

This request is invalid, because the alphabet of Dobrujan Tatar has very different letters, which are not represented directly in Crimean Tatar alphabet, also the letter Ğ ğ has in Dobrujan Tatar different sound ("dj") but in Crimean Tatar it represents ("gh"), this will be problematic too.
