What went well in 2023?
Retrospective was held on June 2023. Bob could not make it to the retrospective, however, we connected with him separately and what's below captures it all
@KHernandez-WMF the list in the retro board is long and we didn't do voting on it. Will you be able to capture some high level themes so we have it here publicly available in terms of what worked well?
What can we consider improving for 2024+?
We considered multiple items and decided to prioritize the following for 2024
- Develop material (1-2 pages) for Research Track chairs to help them with preparing for their sessions and also to know how to run them TODO
- Fix the workshop date asap (ideally by the end of July 2023) DONE
- Prepare the skeleton material (docs) that we need for the workshop asap while our memories are fresh and to avoid the rush before the event. --> CAPTURED: T336912
- Build on the learnings from organizing a Developer track and propose changes --> DONE: T349773
List of additional topics to consider for Wiki Workshop 2024
- A Policy track for Wiki Workshop 2024. Costanza, Pablo, and Franziska indicated interest in it during internal conversations about it. Learnings from the Developer Track in 2023 can help us have a more informed assessment of this.
