AC is met / ticket is done, but passing this to @ifried to see if you think the current copy is acceptable or if it should be - "This information will be shared only with the event organizers." or "This information will be shared with the event organizers only." If current copy is clear enough, then this can be marked as resolved / done.

@vaughnwalters Thanks! Is there any background on why the team is debating between the two phrasings that I should be aware of? The current phrasing seems good to me, but I don't know if I am missing any context.

No you're not missing any context - if it sounds good to you then it can be marked as done! I was thinking that maybe with "This information will only be shared with the event organizers" if "only" references "shared" in this sentence, then it would disclude other things that organizers may do such as aggregate. By putting "only" on the end (This information will be shared with the event organizers only), it removes all ambiguity. I know this is picky, but because of the sensitivity of the participant questions, I wanted to at least bring it up here. The phrase that was displayed prior to this ticket was "You can change or remove your responses before, during, and after the event." so AC is met on this ticket.

1. I noticed the copy in this ticket changed from "You can change or remove your responses before, during, and after the event." to "This information will only be shared with the event organizers." I'm wondering why, just so I understand the context/background.

2. For the sake of being precise (even though I know this will be translated into many different languages), I think it makes sense to make a change to the English copy, as Vaughn asked about, so that it reads, "This information will be shared with the event organizers only." However, before we suggest this change, I was wondering if you knew the background on this copy. Was it written by Legal or another team? And, if we wanted to alter the copy, would we want to write a new ticket?

That's the latest version in the prototype, see T335809#9011765. @gonyeahialam might be able to provide more context.

@ifried "This information will only be shared with the event organizers." was actually the first copy before we got the requirement for this copy "You can change or remove your responses before, during, and after the event. But this copy is no longer true, since participants can only change their responses before the event ends or before 90 days are up whichever comes first. The new copy involved explaining to participants how their data would be handled, but it was too long to put the new copy in that position. So the whole form was restructured to better communicate information data handling and retention without making the form more difficult to complete. You can find some more information about the process in this ticket T339977 and in the Engineering Design Meeting doc.

We can modify it to this. Legal didn't specify the copy. I think they just mentioned that we inform the participants.

I think you can simply update the AC, as it's just a small change to the copy.
