nb. Initial testing post-deployment:
- Using Google Chrome Version 115.0.5790.114 (Official Build) (arm64) on MacOS
- With wgEnableEditRecovery set to false by default, and true for enwiki (beta)
- Editing https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/T342858
- Using Chrome's dev tools ("Application" tab), note that the enwiki_editRecovery IndexedDB is created correctly (i.e. it has the unsaved-page-data table as expected)
- After a reasonable delay between inputting content, the expected behaviour of an entry being added to enwiki_editRecovery does not take place
- No console errors are recorded
- Issue is repeatable on Firefox
- Checking on https://meta.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org, no metawiki_editRecovery IndexedDB is created (as expected)
Editing logged out, or using User:TNT Test instead of User:TheresNoTime, resolves the issue — something about my account/prefs/gadgets/user scripts is breaking this..
