Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):
Usually most articles about a place are written in the local language. However, the local language may not be the one which one prefers – for example because one can better understand English or finds the quality of English Wikipedia much better. It's even possible that one would like to show articles of the local language to be able to find more interesting places without even being able to read that language.
Due to that, it would be very useful if one could choose multiple languages rather than just one for items shown on the Nearby places map.
Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):
This is mostly explained above. For example, if an English-speaking person visits a place in Spain, that person may want to see all English-language articles on the map as well as Spanish-language articles for which there is no English-language equivalent. The Spanish-language articles would extend the English-language ones.
One would be able to choose what the default language is so that it doesn't show two dots per location (maybe showing two dots per Wikidata item / location could also be an option so that one can also set no language to be the default). This is especially useful for regions where there are few items in one's native language. Theoretically, one could also have a language option "Dynamic" which equates to whatever the official language of particular viewed region is but that would probably be better to implement separately and later on if at all.
It would make the map much more useful by combining multiple Wikipedias.
Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
See above. Currently one can only set articles of one or the other language to be shown on the map.
