Background

In the current version of the plugin we offer a "Continue reading" option for longer previews and "Read more on Wikipedia" link for both short and long previews.

Problem:

• The phrase "Continue reading" may mislead some users to expect a transition to the full Wikipedia article rather than an expanded preview within the popup.

• The phrase "Read more on WIkipedia" may not clearly convey to users that it links to the full article on the Wikipedia website. Site owners have suggested changing the text to "Read full article on Wikipedia" for clarity.

Design:

For Short Preview

• Change "Read more on Wikipedia" to "Read full article on Wikipedia" along with a link icon.

For Long Preview

• Get rid of “Continue reading”.
• Show a faded text to communicate more text.
• Faded text signals more content available; simply scroll to continue reading the full Preview.
• At the end of the summary, include a call-to-action (CTA) button linking to the full article on Wikipedia.
• Change “Read more on Wikipedia” to “Read full article on Wikipedia” along with a link icon.
