Steps:
- on dewiki wmf.21 go to Special:Homepage and select the structured task - Add link. The number of articles will be display (the number matches (or close enough) the number of the same task types on Special:NewcomerTasks
- Click on the Done button to select Add link task type.
- Start clicking through the suggestion cards and watch the counter (uggested-edits-pager)
- At some point, usually before 15th task, the counter would display a quite reduced number of fetched tasks - 15-25 tasks instead of the initial number (see the animated gif below)
Note
- the issue exists on itwiki and eswiki,and uzwiki; frwiki seems to be ok.
- when Special:Homepage is just enabled, the number of add link tasks is very low and doesn't match with the numbers on Special:NewcomerTaskInfo

- when Special:Homepage is reloaded, the counter for Add link tasks will show increased numbers, but when a user navigates the tasks, the tasks cannot be displayed:
