[TUX] Keep the project selector open when selecting an aggregated group

Description

When selecting a group that contains sub-groups using the project selector, the project selector should remain open to allow the user to continue selecting a specific sub-group.

Currently it gets closed without giving a clear idea that further selection is possible.

We have made some changes to how the group selector works. Is this bug still accurate and up to date WRT to priority and expected behavior?
