go to article on en.m.wiki
invoke WTE type characters
shake phone, [undo/cancel] dialog is displayed
choose undo

expected : typed characters should be removed
actual : typing is not undone

once undo works, shaking phone again should trigger [redo/cancel] which should restore undone action.

(Also what happens if I didn't mean to shake...? - happens to me all the time - had to disable it in Google Maps)

If you didn't mean to shake the OS already shows a dialog with [undo/cancel] this is a standard part of the OS that you can't turn off.

What about VisualEditor is there to do on this task?

@Jdforrester-WMF this behaviour should be supported by both editors on mobile devices which support this gesture. Its isn't actually WTE specific.

@Jaredzimmerman-WMF Works for me. Tested in Mobile Safari on iPhone.

Just testing on iphone, and ipad, in VE and WTE, issue is no longer present. closing.
