Description

As someone who is writing a message, I want to Mention/Ping another editor whom has a username that differs from their (signature / display name).
I'd like the auto-complete in the Mention feature, to match their alternate name as well as their username.

This is started by T93421: Full user auto-complete for mention inspector
and related to T90055: [Spike] Changing the displayed username, in Flow
