Please provide a use case why you think that tracking GIF only issues makes sense, or why someone would be interested in following only tasks about GIF issues.
I don't want categorization for the sake of categorization, but prefer to solve actual problems. Thanks.

Will someone from Multimedia provide their opinions? AFAIK gif is a little problemic file extension as there are patents with it

@Liuxinyu970226: What is your comment based on and how is this related to tracking GIF issues? Patents expired in 2004.

I'm going to boldly decline this as no use case has been provided. Plus I'm proposing to close T18456 as invalid.
We don't want categorization purely for the sake of categorization.
