Exporting Fundraising translations from meta.wikimedia.org to donate.wikimedia.org should be more automated
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

I spoke to @Pcoombe about Fundraising localization and he mentioned the following: Currently translations for donations are made on meta.wikimedia.org and some of them have to be copied to donate.wikimedia.org manually, and he does this every time a targeted campaign starts.

It will be more to have a more automated process for doing this.

It tends to be just copy and paste at the moment. Pages like https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Ways_to_Give/it are done with templates, so we paste each message in its place.

This sounds something which doesn't need to be in Translate, but rather improving our existing tools for copying pages to another wiki.
