I've proposed a few changes to the weekly mediawiki branching process:

• T94620: [EPIC] The future of MediaWiki deployment: Tooling
  • T89945: Merge to deployed branches instead of cutting a new deployment branch every week.
  • T98834: Use subrepos instead of git submodules for deployed MediaWiki extensions
  • T125678: Scap reliance on extension-list in turn requires extensions to be deployed to WMF production before being deployed to the Beta Cluster

I need to consolidate the good parts of these proposals into a single wiki page and figure out a plan to move these forward.
