For two reasons:
- To mirror production setup (services on sc* cluster)
- To reduce the resource usage of individual services in Beta Cluster (and thus WMF Labs). See: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Purge_2016#In_use_deployment-prep

@mobrovac seems on beta mathoid is running on deployment-mathoid (Jessie / small). What would it takes to move it to deployment-sca* hosts?
Time, @hashar :) Honestly and seriously, right now defining stuff for beta is too confusing, we have pieces in ops/puppet, wikitech hiera and horizon, which makes it quite hard to actually accomplish this (even if the move itself should be painless)
This is no longer an issue: Mathoid has been moved to our k8s infrastructure (nominally it still exists on SCB, but it's not used there at all).
