I have installed AWB 5.8.7.0 in Ubuntu 14.04 after installing Wine, Winetricks and .NET framework 3.5. Everything is working fine except only boxes are shown instead of Bengali fonts in the Make List panel and in the Options tab.

@Rjwilmsi , the incorrect font display is in the Make List panel and in the Options tab, the places where I have to provide the Bengali inputs. Font display is ok in Edit box, Diff display and Page preview.

Hi, I am facing this same problem for Devnagari Script, I use AWB on bhwiki, hiwiki, and maiwiki. Somebody do something, please!

I started using Windows 10 about a month ago and faced this problem. In this meantime, just got my old Windows 7 system repaired and when I tried on that, it worked well. Then a user suggested me to check for fonts. I copied all the fonts (which come with Windows 7 and are missing in Windows 10) to my new laptop. Now, this problem is solved.
@Bodhisattwa and @Aftabuzzaman ! Can you please check for Fonts on your system.
