Description

I just recieved a ping for this edit, which archived a three-month-old thread involving me.

I've read that users only get a notification when their name is mentioned and there is a valid timestamp (i.e. signature) on the page. Maybe that could be modified so that the feature cheks if the timestamp is from today's date? So if the timestamp is very old, a notification is not triggered?
