General
- Melody and others in the communication team are trying to be as transparent in the process of handling blog post requests from community. If you need help with a blogpost, tag a Phabricator task as Wikimedia-Blog-Content, and Melody will take care of it
- Communications also do things like share posts at a specific time to reach our to a particular audience.
Great Ideas from Mel (Things for us consider):
The underlying theme is we want to reach people where they are. Potential developers are not on meta, etc.
- Communication strategy for each of the activities of the program (more like a subtask of a Phabricator task)
- Ways to host twitter chat with developers on MediaWiki. Could be around a project once every week? Project Q&A
- Ways to partner with universities or computer science professionals. Consider writing a blogpost about it?
- Sharing also the process you are following in working on your project, and not just the concrete outcomes, etc.
- How do we get ourselves in directories where we are not there yet. Example is:

- Others, etc.
