Description

the new banner code for desktop banners need to be applied to

mobile banner (last mobile ctrl in 2016)
banner for wp.de
alternative WMF design see (last large banner in 2016 on .org and the last banner on wp.de with adjusted red border design - note for the latter banner on wp.de the small layout bugs (salutation and missing line above bank account number)
en.wikipedia.org (last CTRL in 2016)

This year, we will start having banners on en.m.wikipedia.org and maybe on commons.wikipedia.org. Please have that in mind.

What's the time frame for this, i.e. when should the banners (esp mobile) be ready?

we would like to start with mobile banner tests at the end of August. Wp.de and the EN banners are needed at the beginning of November
