Aaron suggested that it might be good to have 'filter by user' show all applications by that user - including approved or not approved - rather than just pending and under discussion.

I think we may already have the functionality that Aaron's wanting, albeit in a not-entirely-streamlined way:
So as it stands, the editor filter on apps persists across those top level buttons, so you can just click through the apps with different statuses for that editor.
The app listing also has a link to the editor's profile page, which has all apps for that editor, regardless of status.
Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't a consolidated list of all applications by a user regardless of application statuses (when filtered by name) be nice and more easy to access? What do you think @Nikkimaria?
And I wonder why this application didn't show up under "Pending review" when I tried to filter applications by the username "Attar-Aram syria", before I marked it as "Not approved". 'tis the reason behind all this fuss.
I might have an idea on why that could've happened. Because the database for which the application was made to is under "waitlist"? In this case, JSTOR. I just made a dummy application for JSTOR and it neither shows up when I filter by username nor when I filter by partner name.
If the waitlisted apps aren't displayed in the current view, that's not too difficult to fix. We could add another view for that status, or add them into the pending view. That should probably happen whether we add an "any status" view or not. How we want to approach that is more of a design/ux discussion than a technical problem.
@AVasanth_WMF Please create dummy applications on the staging site (https://twlight-staging.wmflabs.org/). Thanks!
Also, I'm going to remove this as an immediate priority, it will probably come later with a general UX update on these pages.
Ah, my bad. Also, is there a way to view applications for partners that have been wait-listed at this time?
Sorry, I totally missed that aspect of this issue. I'll open a fresh task for waitlisted applications to show up in the normal views - applications to waitlisted partners are by definition on the waitlist so I don't see why they shouldn't show up.
@Samwalton9 I think we have this functionality now. So this task can be marked as done maybe.
I don't think we do, because the original ticket was regarding having all applications in one list, removing the need to click through the statuses. I think the UX is unclear here, though, and I'm not convinced we want this behaviour. I'm closing this as declined for now.
Oh I took it like by clicking on the statuses we can see all the applications made by a user. Thank you for the clarification :)
