I want to reiterate what I explained in T176070:
In my opinion this flyout dialog is too small as it is, and disrupts the way many of our edit/page notices are designed. Many of them convey important information (Newarticletext-unconfirmed, for example) which becomes difficult to read or completely illegible in this tiny box.
It'd be great if these could instead be shown where they are in the legacy editor (full-width atop the edit window), but have VE/NWE animate down to reveal them. I say this because I do love the way VE/NWE beautifully animates the heading of a page and it's content into an editor, and from a UI standpoint I understand using the normal layout of edit notices/logs would compromise this experience.
May I solicit some commentary on this issue?
