Numbered external links not visible in preview in NWE

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a page for editing in NWE.
  2. Add a numbered external link, i.e. [https://example.org].
  3. Preview.

Expected:
The link is shown with its number.

Actual:
Only the external link icon is visible (and if you happen to insert an "internal" external link on a wiki that hides the icon for such links (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.css, 1. (c) HTML-ELEMENTE, nothing is visible).
