Description

Hello, I'll clarify this complain by example.

Example

Failed/Successful mention notifications in web is activated in my account
I pinged another account (user:Alaa) like this {{ping|Alaa}}
user:Alaa received a notification that I pinged him
I don't receive any Failed/Successful mention notification

Per Manual:Echo that the user must sign his or her message, so I made another try with sign, but also user:Alaa received a notification that I pinged him, but I don't receive any Failed/Successful mention notification.

It's not specific in Wikidata, as I faced the problem at first on Arabic Wikipedia.

Looks very much like T160088: Failed mention and Successful mention notifications don't work on Flow. @Catrope told there they were a patch that hasn't been merged. Any updates about that?
