NewPagesFeed article snippet fails WCAG AA
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The article snippet for every article at Special:NewPagesFeed has a shade of grey color which fails the WCAG 2.0 level AA guidelines both against the shade of white on the odd rows and those on the even ones.

It should follow Wikimedia Design Style Guide Color palette, which has accessible color markers (for level AA & AAA) built-in.

CSS is currently set to color: #808080; for the .mwe-pt-snippet class in the file modules/ext.pageTriage.views.list/ext.pageTriage.listItem.css in the mediawiki/extensions/PageTriage Git repository.

A patch for this would be welcome, and Growth-Team could help with review and QA. But we are unlikely to have time to work on this in the short-to-medium term.
