The site https://analytics.wikimedia.org looks awkward on smartphones
- Use any Android smartphone (or an iPhone)
- Open any supported browser, like Chrome or Firefox or supported Chromium-based browser
- Go to https://analytics.wikimedia.org/
- Examine any page, like the main page of the site or any dashboard.
- Switch Portrait and Landscape views back and forth
- On Portrait orientation view, the tabs or text would scramble all over
- On Landscape, the site would look better than on Portrait.
- However, mobile user experience is still left to be desired.
- When on a dashboard page, the graph window on the page becomes smaller and then harder to see and navigate.
- Examine all other pages especially for readability.
- Repeat steps for any iPhone (or any Android smartphone if you used the iPhone first)
- On an iPhone, use the same browser that you used on an Android device.
- Repeat steps for any other supported browser if you have one.
- If not, a supported browser app should be available via either Google Play or Apple App Store
The site on Safari has issues as described at T266122 when using an iPhone. If using Safari on an iPhone, then tap on either https://analytics.wikimedia.org/dashboards/browsers/ or https://analytics.wikimedia.org/dashboards/vital-signs/ if you want to test out a dashboard, both of which still load well on Safari but have the same issues as described while using any other browser.
