- Review Secteam onboarding doc and offer any feedback (possibly not necessary given more standardized ITS onboarding doc)
- Review all OIT account creations (OIT ldap, office wiki access, etc.)
- Create a wikitech ldap user
- Register an account in phabricator
- Associate WMF mediawiki account with phab user account
- Add 2factor to phabricator login
- Add 2factor to wikitech login
- Have a phab admin add you to necessary
Security, Trusted-Contributors,WMF-NDAand acl*security_team groups -
Set up IRC (client)and add to IRC channels (ask secteam member via email, see list on office wiki) - Set up Slack/Element and ensure you are added to Security-Team and #security-admin-feed channels
- Get added to wikimedia-staff IRC channel [OIT] (email OIT tech support)
- Set IRC highlight word "secteam"
- Set enforce for IRC nick
- Add to security-team@ and security@ mailing lists
- Add to wikitech-l mailing list
- Add to ops-l mailing list - Request Sent - Waiting for Approval
- Review and sign up for additional, relevant mailing lists (see here and mailing lists under office wiki)
- Ensure you're on all relevant Google Groups (https://groups.google.com/ - ask a co-worker)
- Get added to the Security Team Google drive (see @JBennett)
- Add to wmf ldap groups (see onboarding doc) (example: T204382, tag LDAP-Access-Requests, Security-Team)
- Deployment & stats private data access (example: T207852, tag SRE, SRE-Access-Requests)
- Add wikitech static /etc/hosts entry (optional)
- Ensure meta accounts (and other relevant wiki accounts are active)
- Create user page on meta (once OIT creates your meta user account) (example: sbassett) (optional)
- Update contact and team info on office wiki
- Create an office wiki user page (optional)
- Write up a blurb about yourself and have your manager send it out (optional)
