I decided to write a request to create this page, as we recently decided to start creating local tags for one popular gadget. And that gave me an idea.

We have about a thousand projects for which a large number of all kinds of tools and gadgets are created, such as, HotCat, Twinkle or CD.

For extensions, it's very easy to create tags, they create them themselves, and for global tools, you have to request creation separately in each wiki. This delays the implementation time. It seems to me, given the general trend towards globalization, the appearance of global modules and templates soon, it will be useful if it will be possible to centrally create a tag for all projects.
