There should be a banner on top of the website (probably dismissable?) that notifies user they are reading old freenode logs and that new logs are somewhere else

I added a notice to the top of the page in bold.
The urls were updated in the docs on metawiki and on wikitech.

Well, I don’t go to Metawiki/Wikitech each time I want to look at the logs, I get the URL from my browser history :)
I think it would be nice to send a short email mentioning the new domain name to wikitech-l. (Probably after this task is done and the banner is set up.) I’d be happy to send such an email myself if you’d prefer that.

That would be a lot of work, as there are separate files for every channel info page. I could do it for the system info and log browser pages though.
