After investigating the basics of possible Structured Data on Commons workflows in OpenRefine (see T290296), we have noticed that file upload is a quite complex new feature that needs some additional in-depth research.
This design research will be executed roughly in November 2021 - February 2022 and will inform ongoing work by the OpenRefine team.

This design research, and the resulting workflow sketches and lo-fi wireframes helped us to make some major architectural decisions, as described under 'Learning' in this report.
